Does Rogan hate LGBTQ people or does he just have out of date views? As Democrats we need to avoid the absolutes of good vs evil that the GOP wallows in. Sure, Rogan may be a little on the wrong side of history, but how many of us were there once. Many pretend their as pure as the driven snow, but I don’t believe it. We’re all just learning and evolving, maybe Rogan will too. But to alienate these folks is wrong, better to educate and bring them along.

He’s a comedian, they say garbage and push the envelope of what is acceptable. Without the context of what he said it’s hard to know, but all comedians get their kicks by saying controversial stuff. But if you listen to him at all you know he’s very liberal and pro LGBTQ.

A generation ago people tried to jail Carlin for using the F-word because back then to them it was “NOT a joke”.

We look back and think how ridiculous now, but fail to apply the lessons today.

Rogan is a fool, but to assume he is somehow 100% evil is wrong. Like all humans he makes some valid points and some invalid points. As an ally we should embrace otherwise we risk alienating so many that we’ll be left standing alone.
