I cannot believe you are defending him. Seriously what kind of human wants to sent trans women to jail for that? Who jokes around about hate crimes? You think it makes it OK just because in the middle of his laughter he said "no, you can't murder trans women". Yeah, great clarification. "It was one time" so that makes it OK? (PS google him some more) Laughing about killing trans women is OK as long as you point out that you're not actually going to kill anyone, it's just a joke, ha ha ha. That makes it OK? Saying that trans women should go to jail for not disclosing their trans status, that's OK?

You think trans activists are OK with any of that? No, they're not. You know why Bernie haters are making excuses for it? Because it's not actually about LGBT rights, at all. It's about going after Bernie.

I mean, laughing about hate murder, lordy. Joe Rogan says he doesn't think trans women should fight professionally in women's MMA, and that's the end of the world, and here's a guy laughing about murder and you're defending him.

If Elizabeth Warren and Joe Biden really objected to Joe Rogan I don't think they would be actively lobbying to appear on his show. Supporters should be following the lead of their candidate here.

41. Bernie went on his show and posted a campaign video about his endorsement.

If you want to use a disingenuous right wing framing of "cancelling", you should probably find a similar situation. Warren/Biden/Buttigieg are at a deficit when it comes to overtures made to Rogan.

I'd love to cancel Bernie, but we both know that's never going to happen. People are free to critique him harshly though. That's not cancelling in the slightest however.

These sorts of criticism campaigns may have very much unintended consequences. How can one ally - on any level - with reactionary McCain-style Republicans, for instance, without demands for specific repudiation of backward statements? Talk about “purism...”

I doubt Joe Biden is falling over himself to go on a podcast.

Does he have any proof to offer up?

No way did Joe Biden or Elizabeth Warren beg to go on this loser’s show and get refused.

I could see Warren wanting to be on Pod Save America or Lovitt, but not Rogan. There's just no upside to either of them to be on there.

A spokesperson for the Biden campaign denied that the former vice president had sought an appearance on Rogan's show. A Warren campaign aide didn't know of any attempts to get her on the show.
