Iowans -- do you have any idea how often caucus goers switch party registration that night?

I just found out that Iowa not only allows people to register to vote for the first time at the caucus, but also allows them to change their party registration.

https://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1287&pid=447030

So even though the Iowa caucuses are technically closed and limited to only members of that party, it's incredibly easy to switch party registration just for the evening.

Given recent news stories indicating Republicans want Sanders to win the primary -- Republicans who have no intention of voting for Sanders in the GE, who will vote for Trump instead -- this seems to leave the caucuses wide open to that sort of meddling by people who want to see Trump re-elected.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

The average voter, Republican or Democrat, isn't engaged enough to play games like this. It's one thing to be an Independent who votes in a Party Primary because State Law allows it. Its entirely different to expect people to re-register for the purpose of interfering in another Party's Primary process.

Gerrymandering happened, rigged machines. Missing ballots. Too many ballots. Found ballots.

All rigging is possible. Concerted voter fraud which is what it would be, is not beneath them at all.

Especially because the only actual Republicans I've seen posted on DU are supportive of Joe Biden. These are people like Jennifer Rubin or David Brooks. But an independent endorses Bernie and all the center-right people on twitter lose their minds.

Hmmm...
