but he still is polling just one point behind Bernie...so something is definitely working for him.

And look at Pete! Good for him!

I feel - from all the polls - that Iowa is gonna have 3 winners, with each placing pretty close to one another.

primary today, I would vote for:

3. Electabillity will help Biden at the last minute. So will Klobuchar and Bloomberg voters going to

Biden after those two candidates don't reach 15%.

Warren will almost certainly top 15% so her supporters won't move to Sanders.

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

7. Bernie's got this!! And when Bernie wins, all you'll hear is how Iowa doesn't matter.

8. It doesn't matter, you know. Not much at all.

Iowa's small delegation to the convention will be split up among three candidates. No impact at all on the nomination. Those are the facts, animated emoticons or not.

9. Because it's not terribly consequential.

The number of delegates it provides is minuscule compared to some of the states that come after it. Sure, it’s always good to win Iowa. But it’s like taking a 4-0 lead just one minute into a 60 minute basketball game.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

10. Some may consider the outcome in Iowa important only if Sanders doesn't come in first.

5. Fighting for the right cause is good. Losing for it is bad

A history of fighting for a cause is not a positive if the fighter never wins. In fact, you can weaken an argument by having the wrong person arguing on its side.

I see Sanders fighting for progressive causes as a mixed bag at best. He's not selling them as well as he could. That's my main objection. Also, Sanders may be strengthening the opposition by picking fights with people who should be on our side.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
