I am looking forward to the DU - undecideds to make a decision.

44% are still waiting and have not made a vote - on DU. It is a DU vote.
I invite the undecideds to step forward and vote.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Undecided

So undecided is adequate for me. I have completely ruled out some candidates in the primary, one in particular.

So, given that in my state's primary I can vote for only one candidate, I am undecided. My state's primary is in mid-March, so my guess is possibly one or two of the three that I like would have dropped out, then my choice would be clear.

I want a woman, too, and am leaning Warren. Having a tough time with Klobuchar and I tell you why: It's about her propensity to throw things when she's angry. I once had a boss that threw things when she was angry and I hated working for her and so did everyone else. It's an unprofessional thing to do and it discourages loyalty. I think about that every time I see her. It bothers me.

That said, of course I'll be on board with the final nominee, male or female.

Harris, Biden and Klobuchar were then at the top of my list. Now it’s down to two. I’m hoping one of them makes it, but ultimately, whoever gets the Democratic nomination will get my vote.

If I were to vote in a presidential

I don't want a centrist.

But I'm not concerned at all as an undecided. There is no requirement for me or anyone to declare a favorite while posting to DU. I'll decide when I'm ready, and I may not even declare it on DU.

I had mentioned previously that I'm leaning toward Warren, but that's just a "lean." There are some candidates who are just as qualified, just as capable, but they are out of the race because of the DNC's method of choosing a candidate. But, as they say, don't trash the good because it's not perfect. Warren is a great candidate, but this time around, the Dems have an embarrassment of riches. It's too bad that some aren't given more status and recognition because of money and popularity. Policy proposals are far more important than money and popularity.

It's easier to deal with the nuttiness of primary season by not getting emotionally involved in one particular candidate, and I really don't have a clear preference among several of them. I'll decide when it's closer to my time to vote.

In the meantime, my focus is primarily on getting Democrats elected in local and state races, particularly ones that can help swing our state legislature. My ideal presidential candidate is one whose coattails are long and will campaign and support Democrats in House, Senate, and state races. That probably rules a couple of them out.

If I had to make a decision today, I would support Amy Klobuchar. She's an articulate, sharp senator who would bury Trump in a debate, I like where she is politically. Her biggest problem was exposure, like many of the candidates, a lot of people really didn't know who she was but as she spoke during the debates, she's picked up support. In the category of ability to beat Trump, she's started to appear in the head to head polling ahead of the orange headed buffoon and I think that a campaign would push her to the inevitable 12-14 percent win that "any Democrat running" will easily be able to achieve.

in particular ( which is unusual for me - no real favorite )
while at the same time being excited about all our candidates and what they have to say.
All good.
I will vote for any and yes I’m not alone according to polls about being really undecided .
There was like 8 candidates for attorney general all dem here, and I didn’t decide until the night before So many of them all had pros and cons.
I think when there is a big pool like that with many pros and cons it is even harder

There are many undecided voters in Iowa per polls and they only have a short time to choose.
Do you really think they are all “afraid” or just truly undecided ? Many are for 2020 undecided
My primary is after super tues maybe I’ll see how it looks then

I mention Biden and Bernie in title because one thing I have decided is that I believe it will come down to these two and have thought that for awhile.
Maybe someone like warren will move up again who knows.

Bedsides I have seen people here @ du with one candidate as their choice and they just use it to trash that same candidate (probably to avoid jury ?) So what people have choosen may not mean a thing on what they post
I will add the negativity is disturbing . I don’t see a lot of it because I have so many of the many different candidate ‘s smear squads on ignore and remove the whole primary forum completely quite often
I will say in 6 months if the real world of voters is as fractional as du there will be trump pt 2 imo
I don’t think they will be though but I live in a blue bubble so again who knows
If I did overwhelmingly prefer one candidate sooner than later I will post it so I guess you can look forward to that and don’t paint me as being afraid of du ,perhaps unimpressed with the forum

I like nearly all our candidates, but have various issues with each of them. I have lots of serious problems with some of their supposed supporters here. Many of the same supporters from each side back in 2016 and the same tired attacks. Lots of bullying from almost all sides.

Have had lots of discussions with other activists in NC. Probably 40+% of them are, like me, still in limbo. So you will just have to wait until March 2 to see what we will do. Would prefer you not be so pushy and trust us when say we are undecided.

I could soon donate to another. I truly do not know at this point. My number one criteria is that the nominee can unite the party and get this pResident out of our White House.

My state (Oklahoma) primary is five weeks and two days away. I assume that all but maybe three or four will be out by then and I'll have to make a choice--see criteria number one above.

Regardless, when November comes around I will vote for the person with (D) by their name.

But I can tell you what the vote would probably look like if the remaining 44% decided today:

Warren - 35%
Biden - 28%
Sanders - 18%
Buttigieg - 9%
Klobuchar - 4%
Yang - 2%
Gabbard - 2%
All Others - 2%

Of course this is completely different from how we'll all actually vote in the end.

Hope this helps
