Pipelines are dirty, dangerous, and most of all, a nod to our past energy usage.

We need to get away from stuff like that and head into the future with green energy and technologies that will eliminate carbon production.

You need to look to the future, Joe! And you aren't.

If he's the nominee, of course I will vote for him. But I won't be happy about it. And this pipeline stuff is just one of the reasons why.

By your logic who cares if Biden will lock in the AA vote in S. Carolina?

Democrats haven't' won S. Carolina in the general since Jimmy Carter.

The inconsistency is getting hard to fathom. It's like it's all about getting Biden to be the nominee and there's no plan after that.

...STILL the wrong answer. At least as the first response. I mean, wouldn't you typically express some understanding of his concern, and then explain why you still felt your position was the right one? Or if there's no sufficiently short explanation, at least say something like, "it's more complicated than I have time to explain now, but if you go to my web site..." and "we may not be able to agree on this one issue, but I hope you'll consider voting for me anyway"... But "go away kid, you bother me" is not going to endear him to anybody. And he should know, mics are always live, and somebody is always recording.

and shows it. Occasionally he gives off some heat, too, but his more consistent style is graciousness, affability. Supporters, and even those not politically in sync, mention his empathy.

Sanders, on the other hand, though he comes across as confidently intelligent and fired up, never hits the warmer, more mellow notes. He appears passionately connected to his own ideas, his vision, but not to people. Definitely a personality that can be a drawback even when folks like his policy. He is never described as likable, friendly, warm. In fact, he doesn’t describe himself in terms of sociability. Just the opposite.

I don’t think Biden’s occasional show of anger, remarked upon because he’s mostly even tempered, will hurt him. But I do see that Sander’s abrasive manner gets wearing and may keep him from having a wider appeal.
