Progressives say Perez's list of DNC nominees is loaded with enemies like Barney Frank & B. Sellers

Look who breathlessly "broke the story" replete with outrage about Democrats being named to serve on DNC committees.

Kevin Gosztola, managing editor of Shadowproof, sparked a flurry of responses when he shared Perez's list on social media Saturday afternoon.

snip=================================================================================

Gosztola's Twitter thread delved into the backgrounds of a number of candidates, including Bakari Sellers, a frequent CNN commentator nominated to sit on the Platform Committee.

So who exactly is Kevin Gosztola?

Gosztola is a Jill Stein cheerleader and voter who in 2012 referred to POTUS as "the allegedly first Black Commander in Chief his own self, Barack Obama."

For some reason this Jill Stein acolyte thinks he's entitled to have a say in determining Democratic Party committee appointments.

Gosztola is adept at selling the right wing's "Democratic Party-rigged system" narrative as well.

Gosztola has a long history of being anti-Democrat and anti-Democratic Party. Here's what he had to say about President Obama' appearance at Nelson Mandela's funeral:

For the last couple of days, the corporate media has been a-gushing about Nelson Mandela, what a wonderful man he was, what an example for the ages he is, complete with a grotesquely pandering speech from the allegedly first Black Commander in Chief his own self, Barack Obama. I saw Colin Powell on one of the morning shows almost swooning as he described watching, “through the eyes of a soldier,” the white South African military chiefs escorting Mandela to the podium after he was elected President of South Africa.

Of course the people who think being progressive is capitalizing it and turning the nation over to the Republicans to dismantle all the Democrats' progressive programs think Barney Frank's not one of them.

There isn't one who thinks that way who will look at that chart and wonder if someone very liberal and very progressive can actually be an enemy and why.

If they want what he sells, then they need to look at history. Turning you back on the Democratic Party will result in nothing getting done.

I think that too many people watch campaign speeches and television ads to determine their preference. If you know recent history, you get a better picture of how to achieve your goals. I'm lucky enough to have lived through things that younger voters will have to study and learn.

People like this guy were a huge part of the problem in 2016. They're like the class clown. Not even amusing, just disruptive and damaging. Probably deliberately so. It's an interesting style of narcissism and evil that would be best marginalized and isolated so that it can not do any more damage next election.
