BIDEN TELLS IOWA MAN TO VOTE FOR SOMEONE ELSE, ACCUSES HIM OF SUPPORTING SANDERS—MAN SAYS HE'S ACTUALLY VOTING FOR STEYER

https://www.newsweek.com/biden-tells-iowa-man-vote-someone-else-accuses-him-supporting-sandersman-says-hes-actually-1484511

While meeting with voters during an Iowa campaign stop Tuesday afternoon, Joe Biden experienced a verbal disagreement with former Iowa state representative Ed Fallon over Biden's climate change platform. When he accused Fallon of being a supporter of Sen. Bernie Sanders, Fallon declared he was going to vote for Tom Steyer in the primary.

....

Speaking about the incident in a post on Bold Iowa, Fallon said it was, in his opinion, "disturbing on a number of levels."

"And despite his repeated calls for unity, Biden rejects my offer to support him in the general election. That really shocked me. What was even more shocking was how Biden pushed and poked me, and then took hold of my jacket with both hands as he lectured me," he said.

and DISTORTIONS coming out of the Sanders camp against him, from the likes of David Sirota, Gray, Turner, and the surrogates they have feeding social media with that DISINFORMATION.

What is interesting though is this scorch and burn strategy appears to be failing, and I suspect this repeated ad nausea from some is their desperation because it may NOT be resonating outside of their base. It turns people off, and what appears to be a self-destructive strategy, a good number of them marginalize and bash what they consider "establishment Democrats"

I guess they feel they don't need these so-called "establishment Democrats" to win the DEMOCRATIC PRIMARIES

We'll see how that works out for them.

@ZaidJilani
Someone has informed me that the man in the Biden video above is Ed Fallon, a former long time Democratic state rep. in Iowa. Biden told a long-time Iowa politico on camera to vote for someone else and then grabbed him by his jacket.

From Fallon's website here: http://boldiowa.com/biden-didnt-need-to-do-this-to-me/

For the past few weeks, I’ve been clear about my intention to caucus for Tom Steyer and, if he’s not viable, then to support Bernie Sanders in realignment. My reasoning is simple. The climate crisis is an existential threat that trumps all issues. Steyer is the strongest on climate. Sanders is second.

Even for those of us who’ve decided who we’re going to support, there’s value in attending other candidates’ events to further elevate the climate conversation. That was my intent at Joe Biden’s “block party” on Sunday. After long answers to a handful of pre-arranged questions, Biden invited attendees to come up front for a photo and a brief question.

And despite his repeated calls for unity, Biden rejects my offer to support him in the general election. That really shocked me. What was even more shocking was how Biden pushed and poked me, and then took hold of my jacket with both hands as he lectured me.

He's also very serious about the environment and about pipelines:

Man in the video is Ed Fallon.

He once walked the entire Iowa route of the Dakota Access pipeline before it was built and documented the entire thing. I met him when he hit rural O'Brien County and interviewed him in the passenger seat of my car.

Bernie Sanders Town Hall Devolves Into Screaming Match About Gaza

Sen. Bernie Sanders and a number of constituents got into a fight over Hamas and Israel at a town hall meeting in Cabot, Vermont on Saturday.

A heated exchange featured Sanders telling those interrupting him in the audience to "shut up"

desperately trying to portray his being curt and grumpy as a progessive bona fide. As if "not saying happy birthday" was evidence that one did 'not put up with bullshit,' rather than simply being less than thoughtful or concerned with other people's reactions or feelings.

I think it validated HRC's comments in that documentary more than it dismissed them. But if one thinks that anything they say is by definition "truth" then I suppose one could convince oneself that being self-absorbed when it comes to dealing with other people makes one more of a progressive than people who worry about "bullshit" like saying happy birthday.

Perhaps that's a rationalization when one feels like they are missing out on something, so convince themselves that it means something is better about them than others.
