1. Yes, but could he then plod his way to the Presidency? Doesn't sound like a good strategy to me.

3. Right. "Dynamic similar to 2016" isn't too encouraging.

7. The dynamic that could prove most discouraging is Sanders surrogates like Turner, Gray, Sirota...

...Sarandon, West, etc. ENcouraging voters to vote for someone other than our nominee.

They all set the example by voting for Jill Stein.

he would make a great president. I am not alone. Biden is widely liked and respected across the political spectrum and by diverse populations, trusted here and abroad. No comparison in stature. True, Bernie has young groupies at the age when we are followers of trends, fads, ideas new to us which we claim as our own no matter how ancient, and cool people we think think like us or for us.

Usually these are people promising to topple someone or something, usher in a new world order, and let us stay past our bedtime or do whatever “authority,” “the establishment” says we can’t, forces we exaggerate, demonize, and often misidentify.

Nuance, complexity, irony, history, and the difference between the best possible world and the impossible dream world elude us, nor do we understand yet that “in dreams begin responsibility.” But oh are we enthusiastic—a refreshing but ephemeral state with little substance, dependent upon the contagion of large groups and general loudness. Bernie is nothing if not loud.

But I must also note that the crowds Bernie is drawing in Iowa have become increasingly multi-general in nature …..Plenty of bald headed men and beautiful gray - haired ladies can be seen in great abundance ...By contrast this summer and fall, Bernie's Iowa crowds were around 80% below the age of 30 … ...I concur that Biden's small crowds do not translate to what will happen on Caucus Night …. Traditional caucus voters over the age of 60 , Biden's Iowa Base , just don't attend rallies in large numbers ..

There was some reporting on that as the same faces were recognized.

Of course, the next comment will be that I’m saying every single person does this every single rally, lol.
