Smells can get me too, even old roses. There are lots of different types of curry; although believe me, I am no expert. One of my favorite curries smells like mint (not that I have a clue how to make it).

Taste is obviously personal. If you happen to get a second one in your county, do check it out. You might? be pleasantly surprised.

My stepdaughter is married to a Persian born gut whose family came here when he was a kid. They lived with his mother for awhile when they were first married and the mother taught my stepdaughter Persian cooking. No Persian restaurants here, or even markets, but they travel to a bigger town to get some ingredients and although I don't even know the names of the foods I usually like what she cooks.

It's hard to find good goat tongue here. Just kidding, We're not that exotic although that is a Persian delicacy, I'm told.

Big diverse cities with lots of Indian people might increase the likelihood of having good Indian restaurants. People who live there might be more liberal.

Younger Dems might be more likely to have Indian friends or enjoy a nice Indian meal while older Dems might think we're H-1bs. I'm Indian-American, born in the USA but am still most definitely coming to steal your job. It would be interesting to polls Trump supporters on this.

There are also variances among Indian-Americans with younger ones supporting Warren or Sanders while older ones think Biden is the safer choice.

I go down sometimes to get Cricket supplies from a "shop" that's tucked in the attic of a food market. The hardest part is choosing which place to eat at (given the great options).

The best Indian/Pakistani food I've had in LA is at the "teas" served at Cricket Matches at the Cricket grounds at Woodley Park (Encino).

Home teams (usually formed around ethnic lines) host the mid-game meals, and there is fierce competition among Indian and Pakistani (plus West Indian/Jamaican, etc) teams to put on the best spreads. Good eating!

That's a very unexpected result considering biden has about 28% of the share of people's declared vote (16/56).

This means that maybe one of the following:
1) Biden voters are more active in this forum
2) A large number of undeclared voters are biden supporters

This poll isn't a random sample or anything so you can't draw too many firm conclusions but it is interesting that biden's support in this poll vastly surpasses his declared support by participants of the forum.
