Not all of it was a clusterf***?

Jennifer Jacobs ✔@JenniferJJacobs

Caucusgoers in 36 precincts — in Waterloo, Ames, Ankeny, Chariton, Indianola, Osceola, Iowa City, Colo, West Des Moines, Clive, Ellston, Sully, Lisbon, Clinton County, Waukee, Davenport etc — messaged me with live updates last night; almost all said their caucus nearly flawless.

There are paper ballots, they're being counted.

I wish people would just relax, please.

The only thing that clusterfucked was the data transmission to the state headquarters.

The data is out there. And there’s more of it thanks to the reforms pushed through by the Bernie campaign. From what I understand that was an easy sell to the Iowa Democratic Party. they were ready willing and able to gather that information since the last two cycles it turned out to be a point of contention

Much better than actual results. It will keep them chattering for weeks.

But by now the public at large doesn't care about the actual results.

It might hurt him to most since that's the group he's relying on, but for the numbers to drop that much points to a failure across all campaigns to draw in new voters.

Given the stakes of this election, I wouldn't call first time turnout dropping by 9% 'good'.

all coiffed and coffee'd up, seated ready to go and then disappointed. Thank goodness they weren't carrying guns, so no one got killed, but they're not exactly unarmed and need their butts kicked.
