How the Nevada Caucus will work

Functionally it's the same as Iowa with at least two rounds of open voting and a realignment period in between.

Voting is open to registered Democrats or those who change registration at the Caucus site.

The District Caucuses will lead to an April 18 County Convention and a May 30 State Convention

Here are the differences:

It's on a Saturday in the morning (10 AM Pacific)

Early voting is available for five days starting a week out. Early voters can specify candidates in the order of preference.

Satellite "Strip" Caucuses will be offered for working Casino employees.

NDP has dropped plans to use app-based reporting.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Yesterday, I asked the volunteer coordinator about how we will calculate delegates in light of the IA debacle. He said we will still use an app - but not the Shadow app. The Volunteer training is on Saturday, so I’ll learn more. I moved to NV from a primary state, so caucuses are a new experience 😳

out of state. I've called the nv dems and left my info but no call back as to how to vote while we're gone. Sounds like there will be a virtual caucus but no information on that. I guess I'll call again. Lmk if you have any information please.

Or can larger groups still split off people to make a non-viable group viable for strategic voting reasons?

It seemed to last around two hours at most precincts in Iowa (at least the ones they televised).

primary today, I would vote for:
