If you agree with Steyer's point that Trump will use the economy as a talking point

(which in fact he already has) and that we need to step up to challenge him on this issue, then you know why Yang hammers on the freedom dividend.

And why he hammers on why we need it

- 78% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck
- automation has already wiped out millions of jobs
- automation will continue wiping out jobs
- technological growth is not linear, it is exponential, and tuition free college and an FJG are simply not going to be implemented fast enough, or be widespread enough, to help everyone
- trickle up economics is the best way to stimulate the economy in places where it's most urgently needed - ethnic minority and rural communities

IMO, more than any other solution, his Freedom Dividend is our best chance to help the most Americans and reach the highest number of voters.
