Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forum
Congratulations to our presumptive Democratic nominee, Joe Biden!
Bloomberg might have benefited most from the debate.
The logic being, everyone (including me) seems to think that Amy did best. But in terms of consequences, if she rises in the polls and takes some support from Pete/Biden, that could further preclude anyone from becoming the clear centrist challenger to Bernie.
Which in turn could eventually push the anyone-but-Bernie voters towards Bloomberg as the anti-Bernie.

(25,487 posts)2. She's going to take support from all of the top 4 after tonight
The MSNBC focus group made it pretty clear. The undecideds shifted strong toward Klobuchar tonight. It was almost unanimous.
One of the guys was a Sanders supporter who is now leaning Amy.
WE make too much about these "lanes"... but voters are more complicated than that.
Amy reached into people's living rooms and hearts tonight. And she's going to take support from all the rest. Will it be enough? Who knows.
I think NH is still Bernie and Buttigieg tied at top.... but don't be surprised if Amy jumps over Liz and Joe after tonight.

That was funny. He unabashedly monopolizes those slots

them on stage. Whether or not his candidacy ultimately gets any traction, I have to thank him for the vast amounts of his own money he is spending to troll the orange turd.
