"Cracking a joke about asking for a kiss, Mr. Trump said, 'I felt like Joe Biden.'"

WE know very well the vast gulf between Joe Biden and DT on the issue of their treatment of women. But that doesn't mean Trump won't be able to minimize the difference in ads and soundbites.

And there are two more women speaking out as of tonight. One of them said that, when she was 19 and had just shared her story of sexual assault, he rested his hand on her thigh.

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/04/02/us/politics/joe-biden-women-me-too.html?fbclid=IwAR07WUTl-JnaJlQpUgjCNIc2pt5OewBa6y6gcNugO3do4bVbDQBffaxJCAc

Caitlyn Caruso, a former college student and sexual assault survivor, said Mr. Biden rested his hand on her thigh — even as she squirmed in her seat to show her discomfort — and hugged her “just a little bit too long” at an event on sexual assault at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas. She was 19.

Ms. Caruso, now 22, said she chalked up the encounter at the time to how men act, and did not say anything publicly. But she said it was particularly uncomfortable because she had just shared her own story of sexual assault and had expected Mr. Biden — an architect of the 1994 Violence Against Women Act — to understand the importance of physical boundaries.

“It doesn’t even really cross your mind that such a person would dare perpetuate harm like that,” she said. “These are supposed to be people you can trust.”

D. J. Hill, 59, a writer who recalled meeting Mr. Biden in 2012 at a fund-raising event in Minneapolis, said that when she and her husband, Robert, stepped up to take their photograph with the vice president, he put his hand on her shoulder and then started dropping it down her back, which made her “very uncomfortable.”

Joe Biden

is one of our main issues by the time we get to the debates, Trump wins easy and without any Russian help.

Most people, including women, don't have a problem with Biden's behavior. He's well liked and respected by most Americans. This is being seen as what it is: character assassination.

from accusers who commit Biden character assassination. It is cruel to him and his family, a far worse act than any they have attributed to him. I found the hand dropping from shoulder to waist victim account the most egregious example of MeToo misappropriation. There is such insinuation in its language, as though to say something nefarious happened during the dropping. Of course, she might have said she was terrified, felt powerless, and invaded when the VP after having put an arm around her shoulders, moved his hand to put it at her waist.
She leads us to unpack this shoulder to waist activity, to imagine an incremental, sly intent, as bit by bit, the VP makes a move on her.
Gawd. Seen him standing next to his elderly sister, cheek at hers, whispering in her ear. And so many other non-sexual handholding, hugging, whispering...
I wonder how the women who have “come forward” would survive male dominated arenas like policing, soldiering.
And why oh why this timing for these vapid stories?
I expect some sleazy lawyer aka Avenatti to have a client up his sleeve —or two or three—with a sexual assault story. That comes a few weeks before election if Joe goes forward.

We are using #metoo language (accussers, inappropriate touching, etc) against a wonderful human being for the only reason to prevent him from running.

Linda Flores did it big-time after Biden in what I saw as a rather self-effacing moment, and ice-breaking, asked permission of a wee fellow to hug him. She claimed Biden was mocking the issue of CONSENT. Talk about your dog whistled.

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
