Sorry, but the Bloomberg quotes are accurate and reflect his true feelings

The efforts to paint Bloomberg's own words as an attack from RW sources is a pitiful deflection from what he actually said, as recorded by the Aspen Times and reported on here by Slate. Neither of which are RW sources as some are trying to falsely claim that he is being "smeared". He said it, so deal with that. The text of a 2013 interview echoing those thoughts is also included:
https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2020/02/leaked-audio-bloomberg-aspen-institute-racial-profiling-stop-and-frisk-policing.html

"Ninety-five percent of murders- murderers and murder victims fit one M.O. You can just take the description, Xerox it, and pass it out to all the cops. They are male, minorities, 16-25. That’s true in New York, that’s true in virtually every city (inaudible). And that’s where the real crime is."

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

You do realize that educated people change their viewpoints and opinions on life as they age! Do you hold it against Warren that she was a Registered Republican and voted that way for many years? People evolve and learn from their errors, perhaps Bloomberg has had a change of heart.

You lose! Unlike Bloomberg (who supported Bush in 2000 and 2004) she voted for Dems for Presdient since the 70s and changed her registration a quarter centruy ago.

But of course that's a feeble deflection from his quotes, which were made FOUR YEARS AGO. Have any comment on that? I also notice there are a lot of newcomers on here defending Bloomberg. Since he is putting money into paid influencers sure makes one wonder.

tour. His racist and sexist policies are who he is.

My goodness - this is a man who praised and endorsed Bush for the "war on terrorism". He endorsed Rudy Guiliani. His discriminatory Muslim surveillance program was disgraceful.

He's a fraud.

Not from RW sources...they picked it up and ran with it, but it came from Bernies camp.

[link:https://www.cnn.com/2020/02/11/politics/bloomberg-stop-and-frisk-comments/index.html|

From the CNN link:
The audio was posted to Twitter by writer and author Benjamin Dixon on Monday. Dixon said earlier this year that he believes Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders is the best option in the Democratic presidential field. While promoting the clip, and several other critical articles and videos of Bloomberg, Dixon has repeatedly tweeted "#BloombergIsaRacist." He also did a podcast episode attacking what he called Bloomberg's "racist, classist past."

I'm not defending Bloomberg as he clearly made the comments.

If he buys the nomination, many in the base will be alienated, and the Democratic Party will be damaged for years. And he'll lose badly in November.

Along with his racist comments, recent support of repubs over Democrats, NDAs for female employes and a host of other problematic facts about him. And the excuse is always "he can beat drumpf so it's all ok" which often comes from the same people who were saying tow weeks ago that it had to be Biden because then he was the "only one" who could beat drumpf.

And you're right, his nomination will alienate many (I would vote for him of course or whoever is nominated), but the response among others who wouldn't won't be because of some Russian campaign, or dirty tricks. Democrats will have done it to themselves.
