The early story out of NH tonight...

Is the disappearance of the young voter. If things don’t change, an 11% turnout of the 18 to 24 crowd will be a big deal.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

6. Lots of possible reasons

Young people vote later in the day usually. So the exit polls could be missing them.

The weather, school, etc., all can have an effect.

It could be that they thought their candidate had it in the bag so their vote isn't needed. We won't really know until the results are in and it's been directed to death

college students chose to vote in their home states. I also wonder if there was a decline in birth rate and if they factor in. I know of many young adults who have chosen different routes than we imagine yet get the job done anyway. And there could be apathy. It's not a hard state to register to vote in even with the new registration requirements.

But I doubt it will change that much. Part of it is because the Republicans changed the rules to make it harder for college students to vote.

Like AOC and Michael Moore have been screaming for months. Yes, it would be wonderful but if think we can just coast into the GE thinking all we need to get is to turn out the young in order to win, we'll lose 40 states.
