(16,018 posts)I guess I just needed a laugh after these last few weeks.
Cannot wait to have a nominee no matter who. There are two that Id need a few shots to vote but will. One doesnt stand a chance....not even one delegate yet and probably never. The other...ugh! A billionaire believe it not running in the democratic primary. If youd told me that six months ago Id have a big belly laugh from you.

(3,855 posts)Do you think there are no people on DU who are being paid to be disruptive?
Not necessarily her, but that is suspicious. So many posts. Is this her full time job??

(1,997 posts)vague possibility of accidentally sending some classified emails by the wrong method (which was very common over 10 years ago when hacking was not a big concern)...but they were able to blow that up into a huge scandal.

(11,607 posts)I would like to see a third party Democratic group run attack ads based on this now, to get it out there and see how voters respond (in the primaries and in general election polls). I'd like to see the same done for any skeletons in other candidates' closets. Like you said, get it out there now, so primary voters can make an informed decision and so it'll be old news by November.
If the Reverend Wright nonsense had happened in October 2008, Obama might have lost. But by November it was old news. McCain didn't make an issue of it, but I think some third party groups were running attack ads using Reverend Wright. But nobody cared by that point.

(1,345 posts)everyone's focusing on the third rail of "praising Castro", but there are a lot of people who don't care about Castro anymore and in the meantime they'll get a great lecture about American foreign policy.

(97 posts)Every one has something that can be hit hard. You have that with Sanders, if Pete is the nominee you dont think they will hammer all the charges of racism as the mayor of South Bend and the firing of the police chief and fire chief. If its Joe you know it will be non stop Burisma, Hunter corruption, him cutting social security and some of his questionable past like Anita Hill, busing just to name a couple. Let's face it they have files on every one of our canidates ready to tee off when will have the most impact in the General.

(189 posts)The Democratic and Republican parties murderous intentions towards Castro in 1960. It was a snapshot in time about how he felt, and he said he didnt know anything about politics back then. Im not seeing a Bloomberg moment here.

(36,962 posts)I've known Jeff (Epstein) for 15 years. Terrific guy,'' Trump told New York Magazine back in 2002. "He's a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it - Jeffrey enjoys his social life."

(3,182 posts)...a question of trump calling names, it's a question of who's best equipped to meet trump head-on in kind, raise the ante, and inflict serious damage to trump and his credibility...
...all of our candidates will be viciously attacked rightly or wrongly by trump, that's a given...but IMO, Bernie is the best we have to go toe-to-toe with trump and the best candidate capable of beating trump at his own game...
...I'll put my money on Bernie's skill and capabilities...
