I can't be the only one that feels really depressed around here

I mean, I know what the primary season is suppose to be and bring but it feels so hostile around here now about who is better and who will win. I mean all of us are going to vote for whoever is the nominee to defeat Trump. I just feel depressed checking in everyday and see everyone about to tear each others throats out over which candidate did this or who said that. Again, I know what the primary season but it's just depressing to see dems attack other dems here.

Just my two cents. I love y'all regardless of who you support. I don't pick sides. I'm voting whoever wins the nomination. End of story.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

and do not believe that you are entirely incorrect. Yes there has been sniping and responses to sniping. Primary season can be very ugly. As suggested above, the ignore button can be your friend.

I have great concerns about the coming November election and beyond, no matter who the nominee ends up being. They will get my vote, but being in a heavily Red State that will be rather meaningless in the long run.

It’s debilitating. Almost as though it’s trying to suck the fire out of us.

But then, here’s what I always try to remind myself:

That’s what they want.

That’s what they hope for.

They know (I think trump knows this instinctively) that our heart, our belief in reality and truth and honestly and morality and ethics and compassion, and all those other good things, mean we’re softies. Snowflakes. Push-overs.
That’s what they want. How they want us to respond, and process this and try to make sense of it. And how it’ll make us feel helpless and overwhelmed and wanna run away or go hide. Or give up. Just as trump wants us all to THINK that the Ukrainians are investigating Biden & Son because he talked the Ukrainian President into ANNOUNCING an investigation that would help his own 2020 prospects. The strategy, like its intended result, is as shallow as the donald is. But he’s good at INSINUATING things. Plausible deniability, ‘cause he never actually uttered the specific words that could tie him to the bottom of a long deep well. But you “get” what he means, as Michael Cohen knows intimately and has described.

This guy is simply about mind-fucking. He’s a lazy SOB so he’ll do it verbally. But he’s just trying to mind-fuck all of us.

So that’s why I’m personally determined NOT TO PLAY. I won’t give in.

There really is an existential divide between Bernie and Bloomberg (and Pete and Amy).

If we go with Bloomberg, I feel we are admitting that one has to be a billionaire to be president; yes, we like his *positions* better than Trump's, and he's probably a better human being, but we are really just choosing which Kubiki figure is going to rule us.

If we go with Bernie, we are standing for actual change, not just from cheeto benito, but from the 'third way' 'Republican Lite' paradigm; but we also will be fielding a candidate with vulnerabilities as well as genuine advantages.

I like Pete the best, but Amy and Elizabeth are good people who would do their honest best. I do not like or trust Bloomberg, never have, never will. I'll hold my nose, though. But a Bloomberg win will be, in my opinion, just a slower, fainter death knell as opposed to the current dumpster fire.
