1. The weird thing is that Bernie is the only candidate people blame for what randos post on Twitter.

He's right that there's no way to know who anonymous internet users actually are. But the larger issue is that a lot of people are rude on Twitter, it's by no means Bernie supporters only, and somehow the media makes it seem like this is a unique Bernie thing.

Hmm....

Bernie bros are the most offensive supporters on Twitter by far (tied with MAGAts). Your statement is the complete opposite of what I see on twitter and I'm there a LOT and have over 5,000 followers so I see a lot of stuff on my tl.

Please stop blaming the media. If it's not the media, it's the "establishment", or the "DNC". Always the victims.

13. You'll then easily support your premise with evidence?

You'll then easily support your premise ("Bernie is the only candidate people blame...) with objective data or evidence?

Or will you (and I find this a wee bit more likely) simply move the goalposts (again) while rationalizing why asking for supporting evidence "is an attack on Bernie!!!"

you will see the same thing we all (besides bernie supporters) see which is how angry and offensive they are.
Berners and MAGAts are the opposite sides of the same coin. Nasty, aggressive, offensive with anyone who disagrees with them. It's disingenuous to say otherwise.

19. Because people like me see a pattern that ONLY matches known Bernie supporters
Fri Feb 14, 2020, 01:16 PM
Feb 2020

(and surrogates)

I know supporters of various candidates in real life. Which candidate is the ONLY one with a significant proportion of a-holes among those supporters that I know in real life? Bernie. Other people I know in real life say they have the same experience.

A given social media post might be by "some rando". But when the pattern matches to people one knows in real life ... it's not a stretch to assume the "rando" is part of that same group.

Bernie has to do ONE THING to stop it. (He may have to do that one thing multiple times, as some of these people are thick.) He needs to make extremely clear, publicly that he does not want behavior like this from his supporters; that they are NOT helping "the revolution". Okay #2 thing is to publicly fire some staff for their crappy behavior. If he looks he will find at least one or two that deserve it. THEN people will start to take seriously that he actually means it.

Until then, the denial is all gaslighting.
