But I suspect that she would seriously consider such an opportunity. Being the first female VP would still be a huge one for the history books. Plus, there is some potential job advancement serving under a President who will soon be turning 80.

...but on the negative side, I'm afraid it would motivate maximum turnout on the Trump side, as there is basically nobody they hate more. And on the flip side of that same equation, I'm not sure it gets us any more votes than Bloomberg himself. What state does she help him carry that he wouldn't get anyway?

I think I'd rather Bloomberg ran with someone who more people really liked, someone who wasn't underwater in favorables (outside the base).

The screenshot in the tweet links to a larger version of the snip, not to Drudge.

I posted it because:

a) Oliver Darcy is a legit journalist who covers media for CNN

b) *To me*, this really seems more like Bloomberg psyops on Trump than Drudge trying to push a improbable narrative on his gullible viewers (I say viewers because 95% of his hist are people just reading the headlines on his HTML 1.0-based page, not actually clicking thru)

Sorry for the Raw Story link. It's one of the few original articles they publish:

https://www.rawstory.com/2020/02/katie-couric-broke-news-about-trump-on-real-time-and-it-is-hilarious/

Couric also broke some news about how the Bloomberg campaign was seeking to exploit the dynamic.

“I talked to somebody from the Bloomberg campaign, they said they’re hiring an expert on narcissism and combining that — no, this is for real — and combining that person with a comedy writer to get in Donald Trump’s head,” Couric reported.
