2. Biden must be looking at bad internals if his surrogates are resorting to this.

praising communism and not just some cultural program. Not the kind of thing a campaign does when it's looking at good numbers.

If in the same breath they had talked about what was happening to all the orphaned children and the assault on civil rights and freedom, it might pass the smell test. But what was going on in the Soviet Union even at that time and since is far from this Utopian "cultural palaces" they were describing.

I didn't see lavish praise or preference for the commies.

First thing Sanders talked about was the good condition of public facilities. Seems like tRump would agree, since he bashed the condition of American airports, and called the White House a "dump".

There's nothing damning in that video.

And others like it that they find or manufacture and wrap them around Bernie's neck just like they wrapped Hillary Clinton's irrelevant emails around hers. Camp Hillary wasn't ready for what tRump did to her on line and elsewhere. I'm voting blue no matter who, but my hope is that if Bernie is the Dem nominee, he and camp will be ready to fight back vigorously--24/7--against this shit, because tRump and his Billion Dollar disinformation campaign to steal the White House again is just heating up because we see that Facebook is nothing but one GIANT tRumputin campaign arm. I no longer go visit friends over there because I'm hit with continuous tRump campaign swill and outright LIES that I am not willing to look at or stomach.

The Billion-Dollar Disinformation Campaign to Reelect the President
How new technologies and techniques pioneered by dictators will shape the 2020 election.

Updated at 2:30 p.m. ET on February 10, 2020.

One day last fall, I sat down to create a new Facebook account. I picked a forgettable name, snapped a profile pic with my face obscured, and clicked “Like” on the official pages of Donald Trump and his reelection campaign. Facebook’s algorithm prodded me to follow Ann Coulter, Fox Business, and a variety of fan pages with names like “In Trump We Trust.” I complied. I also gave my cellphone number to the Trump campaign, and joined a handful of private Facebook groups for MAGA diehards, one of which required an application that seemed designed to screen out interlopers.

The president’s reelection campaign was then in the midst of a multimillion-dollar ad blitz aimed at shaping Americans’ understanding of the recently launched impeachment proceedings. Thousands of micro-targeted ads had flooded the internet, portraying Trump as a heroic reformer cracking down on foreign corruption while Democrats plotted a coup. That this narrative bore little resemblance to reality seemed only to accelerate its spread. Right-wing websites amplified every claim. Pro-Trump forums teemed with conspiracy theories. An alternate information ecosystem was taking shape around the biggest news story in the country, and I wanted to see it from the inside.
