Klobuchar is stolid, stable, intelligent, informed and capable--exactly what the Democrats need.

'Move over, AOC, here comes AJK. Amy Jean Klobuchar is going to be on the Democratic ticket in November, either at the top or as the nominee for vice president. Elizabeth Warren, with her far-left views and fuzzy bio, will continue to sputter, the money well will dry, and she’ll fade to black. That opens a lane for Ms. Klobuchar that she didn’t have before, and her opponents can’t find. Even with their modestly differing policy views, I’m suspecting Ms. Warren is not going to endorse one of the boys.'

This article, which I didn’t read because of the paywall, is by a republican.

Judging by the first paragraph, I’d say the article is not really useful in a democratic primary.

And if you don’t believe them, there’s the fact that she had the highest turnover rates in the Senate. The occasionally trembling speaking voice does hint at some temper issues.

Wouldn’t bring it up but since you posted this shot at Warren.

I’ll have to see how calm and dependable Amy is after she has to take the level of incoming that Warren did for months.

https://www.thecut.com/amp/2019/02/former-staffers-defend-amy-klobuchar-in-open-letter.html

On February 24, 61 people who previously worked for Klobuchar co-signed an open letter published on Medium, insisting that the senator was a caring “mentor and friend” to them. Although numerous outlets, including the HuffPost and BuzzFeed News, have published detailed reports of Klobuchar’s alleged volatility and habit of demeaning her staff, the co-signers of this letter specifically address the editors at the Times, who they claim omitted the “positive anecdotes and stories” they shared in interviews.

We previously worked for Senator Klobuchar, and some of us were among the former staffers contacted by the New York Times and other media outlets to share our experiences about working in her office,” the letter reads. “We do not believe these reports adequately describe our thoughts on Amy Klobuchar, many of which we shared with the authors.”

I’m all in for Warren and will remain so as long as she’s in the race. Were she to drop out, I’d vote for Klobuchar. I’m not too thrilled about her, but I arrive at the decision by a process of elimination. I’m not going to go into my reasoning, I’m not gonna engage in criticizing the other candidates. I’ll just say that I believe Klobuchar is the most attractive and electable candidate after Warren.

Hopefully Warren will rebound and ultimately capture the nomination.

Kenneth L. Khachigian (born September 14, 1944, in Visalia, California) is an Armenian-American political consultant, speechwriter, and attorney. He is best known for being a longtime aide to President Richard Nixon and chief speechwriter to President Ronald Reagan.

He served as chief speechwriter on Reagan's successful 1980 presidential campaign, and continued as chief speechwriter in the Reagan administration, writing Reagan's first inaugural address, his three main economic speeches, and the welcome home speech to the Iranian hostages. Although he resigned after several months to return to the private sector in California, he continued to write many of the major political and policy speeches as chief speechwriter on Reagan's successful 1984 re-election campaign and throughout the second term, including the 1984 nomination acceptance speech, the 1985 remarks at the former Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in Germany, and the 1988 Republican National Convention farewell address.

He is a veteran of nine presidential campaigns. Most recently, he served as a senior advisor to the presidential campaigns of Bob Dole (1996), John McCain (2000), and Fred Thompson (2008).

The fact that AOC and Amy Klobuchar can exist in the same party and compliment each other is a credit to the Democrats.

I'm supporting the nominee and doing so by working phone banks in places nearby where needed. I have planned to spend the weekend before the election helping get Democrats to the polls in Iowa or Wisconsin. Amy would be great. She's lacked name and face recognition up to this point but as the field narrows, people are discovering her. Trump would look like a loser in a debate with her, she can remember facts, he just lies and people could see the contrast. My contribution is meager, but it goes to her right now.
