Maybe you could try watching the video. You know, maybe try listening to someone who has a different opinion than yours? John Oliver does really good work.

The weak spot on this is that while every candidate says they would like a system similar to what European countries have, NONE of them are willing to fund it in the way that those countries do; where EVERYONE PAYS. They all favor fantasy projections of "savings" and making "the rich" pay for everything. Neither of which will raise nearly enough to cover the true costs.
There are no honest studies to show that this is remotely realistic.

primary today, I would vote for:

...people will see an increase in taxes in exchange for eliminating premiums, copayments, and deductibles. That tax increase will likely be less than what people are currently paying for healthcare. It's also worth mentioning that M4A insurance would cover doctor visits, hospital visits, surgeries, eye care, dental care, home healthcare, and prescription drug costs after $200. It's a good deal.

Bernie at least said that taxes would go up on everyone, while Warren had promised that middle class taxes would not go up.

What I don’t believe is that the tax increase will be less then premiums/copays/deductibles. And the only way to prove what Bernie promises is to show how much it costs. Which, as he admitted, he doesn’t know.

If you want to make the argument that M4A should be enacted even if taxes rise on everyone that’s fine. But if you want to keep promising that it won’t cost more, you are going to have to actually release the numbers.

This all presumes that it could even be enacted. Which, as AOC recently admitted, it cannot.

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
