It's time for people to start using the "ignore" function

There are people who you will NEVER convince otherwise when it comes to the Democratic primaries... and there are some who are actually here specifically to stir up shit. There is no point to the vitriol that goes on here and I would highly recommend that people make liberal use of the "ignore" function for others that they just can't get along with. At least until we hit the General Election. I certainly will be doing so.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:

No. Then the inaccuracies (and outright lies) remain unchallenged and uncorrected. It's not a matter of "convincing them" that they're wrong... it's a matter of not allowing the toxic smears and lies and denigration of Democrats and the Democratic party to poison the minds of others. It's that type of negativity that generates apathy. Apathy discourages voter turnout. Low voter turnout gives Republicans a chance to steal the elections.

Many people do find that the "ignore" function makes their lives better. I'm not trying to talk you out of using it. All I'm doing is explaining to you why it is that I won't be doing it, and why it's important for others like myself who also won't be doing it.

I sometimes react too quickly and its best, for me, to have not seen at all! For instance, I am not automatically logged in, and the ignore function only works if you are logged in. I see things that make me want to react in a way that would surely get me thrown outta here lickety split!

After 2016, after many hides, and many ignores, I came back and decided I would be all grown up and do my best to reasonably make a case with no ignores. 2 months later and being in the dog house, I put all those ignores right back on - and by the grace of some better angel, I am still here - for now
