I agree Speaker Pelosi. Democrats must be united to defeat Trump,

and that unity should begin at the Convention. After a nominee is chosen.

Before that, the various candidates will debate, and articulate their positions.

It would be ideal if the supporters of all of these candidates would do the same thing, and explain how their particular candidate is the best choice for President.

In my view, the fear of another Trump term is motivating a large percentage of the attack posts here, and that fear is understandable. But having followed politics since I was 16, if the past 52 years has taught me any few things, it is that people love to argue about politics, and that many people, perhaps most people, do not really follow politics except very close to an election.

And given that weak state of the US media, and the gradual disappearance of newspapers, and the right wing dominance of most of the media, voters are not exposed to much real information.

So these pathetic, televised, reality television style confrontations that are called debates are no place to hear actual information about the real differences between candidates.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

1. I wonder who Nancy would vote for? She said don't count Biden out and she works so well with him.

the eventual nominee.

And no matter who that nominee is, the GOP will be united against that nominee, and every position that the nominee takes.

9. You said she "works" with him so well, not "worked." Glad you corrected yourself on that.

But now I'm curious - how involved was Biden in the Congressional work on the bill?

Being VP and all, he was mostly involved with the Senate. I thought that Schumer was her primary point of contact in the Senate.

Can you be specific?

election unfairly bothsided against Hillary with a tsunami of false equivalence.

For every Rachel Maddow or Lawrence O'Donnell, our MSM has 10 Trump-normalizing show ponies who are mainly striving to enhance their own careers by emphasizing those stories and memes which have the strongest appeal for their wealthiest corporate advertisers.

When the corporate controlled media controls the debates, the limits of those debates protect the interests of the 1%.
