Can we please stop attacking each other?

It is the least helpful thing we can be doing, the very, very least helpful thing.

Support your candidate with all your might, but please, please, please remember the enemy — the only enemy — is the GOP. We must beat trump. That is non-negotiable.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

The tilting of arguments using language cleverly infuriates the f*** out of supporters of the other candidate.

You may not do it. 9/10 may not do it, but it only takes those few shit-stirrers to ruin it for everybody.

It's always better to boost one's candidate's positions without mentioning their opponents, since everybody here already knows the positions of each candidate.

get them, and is only getting warmed up. She's got the legislative past to get bipartisan support (even if only one or two votes) to get anti-corruption legislation passed?

Which is also a test vote for ending Citizens United's definition of money as speech? With the right legislation wording, the right challenge to back it up by the DOJ before SCOTUS, that law could get overruled, since there's no pressure of legal precedent, to keep it, and more political, congressional and executive and polling pressure to end it.

I can gladly refrain from talking about other candidates and simply extol the virtues of my preferred candidate or speak positively about other candidates, but can the supporters of other candidates -- especially one we are all thinking about -- do the same?

I've made the same proposal on other message boards and it was turned down because certain supporters can't help but attack other candidates. After all, the """Democratic establishment""" is just about as much of an enemy to them as Republicans, if you hear them tell it.

...in ways that you imply you do not approve of. If Sanders supporters did that, it would go a long way. I've seen other candidates' supporters (Warren and Harris come to mind) speak out against fellow supporters that stepped out of line and acted inappropriately, but I think it all comes down to the simple fact that most of the candidates are true Democrats and do not want to do anything to hurt the party whereas certain candidates (namely Sanders, but also Gabbard) are just fine with attacking the party because they apparently view them as enemies.

That’s what I’m concerned about here, really.

I don’t have a problem with fair criticism of the candidates’ policies, records, or potential electability, either here or elsewhere.

Fair criticisms of any of our candidates — Sanders absolutely included — are a good thing. No need to let a land mine sit unexploded until it can hurt us in the general election.

I’d just like to see us all realize we are on the same team and not attack one another.

After the primaries I will focus on the overwhelming enemy.

Until then I am doing everything I can to insure the one candidate I am POSITIVE can NEVER defeat Trump is defeated in the primaries because doing otherwise is morally reprehensible to me.

Of the rest, I really don't care who is because I am sure any of them could defeat Trump, just as I am POSITIVESanders would LOSE OVERWHELMINGLY if nominated.

If Sanders ends up the nominee, I'll do my best to get him elected, but will be completely disheartened and certain it will be in vain.
