750 people have braved the cold to attend Kamala Harris’ town hall in Bettendorf, Iowa, per aide.

“The race starts here in Iowa,” Harris says. “I fully intend to win.”

Sen. Kamala Harris in Bettendorf, IA, starting with an anecdote about how her mom taught her to take action rather than complain. “So I said, ‘OK, I’m running for President.’”

"Wars are being fought right now over oil," @KamalaHarris says in Bettendorf, Iowa, and soon, wars will be fought over water. "We have to diversify water policy." Need more conservation, recapture, recycling and desalination. #IAcaucus #ClimateChange

As a senator, they can only vote for removal after an impeachment.

As a new president, presidents don't prosecute people - the DOJ does.
If it is that presidential direction to DOJ she is referring to, any Dem president will
make sure this piece of crap is properly tried.

...she's talking about the campaign.

She's referring to her experience as prosecutor as an advantage in the court of public opinion.

She previously served as the 32nd Attorney General of California from 2011 to 2017, and as the 27th District Attorney of San Francisco from 2004 to 2011. Not much question about the advantage of that prosecutorial experience in sorting Trump out on his crimes.

I’m in Liz Warren’s camp but if Kampala Harris keeps saying great stuff like this, I may start wishing for a Harris/Warren ticket.

Or what about Harris/Buttigieg to appeal to millennials, and make Liz Warren the Senate leader, or just make her Sectry of Labor and give her a big legislative portfolio working closely with the White Hiuse?

This may be a fire button winning topic toward the nomination but it would play awful in a general election, if the Mueller report goes nowhere. Imagine Trump with a demeaning nickname for Harris, and then pointing to this quote and mocking Harris for wanting to prosecute a case against him.

There is far too much danger of it playing out exactly that way. It's okay to risk a low percentage development but we can't butcher the probability table. Harris already did that with the Smollett situation and failing to recognize the applied odds there. I'll continue to assert that Harris has always been on offense so she has no idea when it is not the best choice.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
