Meanwhile, Fox News announced that Amy Klobuchar will headline a town hall event on Feb. 27 in Raleigh, NC, with Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum as moderators. The DNC is refusing to select Fox News as a debate sponsor, but the network has instead done a series of events with some of the candidates. This will be Klobuchars second town hall for the network. She last did one in Milwaukee in May, 2019.

(7,873 posts)Klobuchar is rapidly getting to the point where her continued insistence at staying in this race is going to hurt her more than help her. Never go full Gabbard.

(11,607 posts)Much as I hate it, 35-40% of people get all of their news from there. If they don't even get to see and hear our candidates we have no chance. Yes, most of those people will end up voting for Trump anyway, but if we can win over even a small percentage of their viewers we'll be in better shape.

(7,873 posts)We just need Democrats to turn out and not get depressed like they did in 2016, which was in large part due to the propaganda pushed by Fox News and other conservative media outlets.

(20,630 posts)AK is not my candidate of choice, but I have zero issues with her doing a town hall, and maybe getting those not completely in the "Culto de Chump" to hear our positions straight from the candidates themselves.

(7,873 posts)...so, probably not, but I did not know that about him and I am very much NOT supportive of him going on that network. Whose shows does he appear on?

(38,187 posts)Every time I hear Nora O'Donnell's name, I want to post the footage of her standing on a deck at the Bush Ranch back in 2000. She was talking dreamily about how good Bush was to the media compared to Al Gore. She threw her head back to talk about being treated so great. It was sickening. I have despised her ever since.
Nora O'Donnell hates Democrats and loves Republicans.

(49,035 posts)ABC or NBC (though I usually channel surf between them) because she has been so blunt.
Editing to add that she's been tough on Trump since she took over as anchor:
