Unlike some other candidates, what he does with power is not exactly unknown. That's good. No need to read a bunch of demand-feeding claims on a candidate's website and wonder if they're sincere or if he or she could possibly come through.

As for not being simple and in one place already...oh, well? By far most of the nation is paying no attention at all at this point and won't be for some time. And when they do, few will search for information as you're doing.

Disclosure: I don't expect to be voting for Buttigieg with all the other great possibilities out there. Maybe take a look at Governor Innes. I like everything I've read about him so far. Another person whose record tells you who he is.

There are issues at the national level that are completely out of scope and influence of a city mayor.

Some of those issues are very important to me.

My concern, generally, about elevating someone with no national experience is that they have never needed to think deeply about the issues at that level. For myself personally, I want to reassure myself that I wouldn't be supporting someone who would have harmful positions on issues that I care about, when the person has no track record on in their prior experience.

But anyway I am expressing my opinion that he does need to show some sort of platform. You disagree. All's good.

is more like being president than the senate. That's why governors have always had a strong advantage in running for president. Obama was only the second senator to EVER go directly from the senate to the WH.

What I am saying is that you can already find out most of what you want to know, and more you didn't know there is to be aware of, by looking beyond a website that will eventually be filled with carefully calculated positions developed after careful study of polling and focus groups. Examining one good record in power is worth more than a million self-serving websites.

This comes out in interviews, but I understand your desire to see written statements. I am like that too. I expect he will produce a better website in the coming months. He is targetting millenials. They judge people by their websites and I am sure he knows that.

He has articulated policies in interviews, but you don't want that.

In his defense, he started out with a very small staff and almost no budget. As a little known candidate, his strategy to this point seems to be getting lots of publicity through the media and travel to swing states. He went viral in mid-March and seems surprised it happened so suddenly after two months on the road. His fund raising after mid-March greatly exceeded his expectations.

Last week he opened up a new expanded headquarters and he is staffing up right now, with an expected launch date of April 14.

One thing I like about Buttigieg is that his emails explain where the money is going, so we know what he is doing. Very upfront and open of him. If he stays true to form, at some point he will launch a new website with more info about him.

Categorize them and put together an issue summary page.

Then at least it looks like he's trying. That should be a fairly quick thing to do, too.
