"SNIP....

A new College Reaction/Axios poll finds that Sen. Bernie Sanders has surged 20 points among college students to become the group’s clear 2020 favorite.

In the last two months, Sanders has risen from 15.5% in September to 22.5% in December and is now at 42.3%.

Any data on that? This is a survey of students. Not registered voter students. Not students who say they're likely to vote. Just students. Until students show up to vote, I won't put much faith in them, no matter how awesome they are otherwise.

The youth vote was supposed to propel George McGovern to the Whitehouse in 1972. Most didn't vote.

College voters increased in 2018 from the 2014 midterm, so that's good news.

GOP-led states like Iowa are trying to make it more difficult for college students to vote by removing polling places from campuses and restricting the types of IDs students can use.

... but not now.

What a snarky comment. The youth of our country care about the environment and the diminishing condition of our Earth's biosphere, because, they will have to live with it. They want to have kids. They want to see snow. They want to breathe clean air.

The youth of our country care about the economic precipice we seem to be heading for, because they are the ones that will inherit the massive federal debt, most of which has been to accommodate the rich and comfortable and to aid and assist today's welfare queens: large corporations and the military/industrial complex.

The youth of our country want healthcare, and no, not just for themselves, but for their aging parents and relatives.

Next time you spout off about "free college" please remember that just like the rest of us, today's youth have multiple concerns and multiple causes. And frankly when you "they just want free stuff," we alienate the future.

They will be tax payer funded - just like our public elementary and secondary schools.

A very good education without racking up debt. In TN there are many community colleges that are free. There are ways to do it without spending $200,000
