Some people who attacked Joe for hugging are now attacking him for joking about hugging

What do they want from him? Sackcloth and ashes?

Mea culpas in every speech?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

“It’s his first public event,” Dingell responded. “I’m not going to judge him on it or not on it. The crowd reacted. Joe Biden is Joe Biden. If he runs for president he’s going to win because he is Joe Biden. He’s got to respect people’s space, he’s got to understand that there are some people––and he’s acknowledged it––that don’t like it, but his strength is his empathy.”

29. It's what Republicans do,
Sat Apr 6, 2019, 10:11 AM
Apr 2019

they take a person's strength and turn it on them. Shrub weaseled his way into the Guard during Nam and then to top it off he went AWOL. John Kerry was a Vietnam hero so they Swift Boated him.

Biden's strengths are his compassion, empathy, and love for people. Barbara Boxer said it best last night on All In, or was it someone on Bill Maher, darn this memory, anyway the statement was, would we rather have men act like Mike Pence, not permitted to go lunch or dinner with another woman unless Mother came along, or even when a woman meets with Pence in his office he leaves the door open. Is that what people want?

By the bye, it isn't just Republicans.
