Poll: Voters say Biden's conduct with women should not disqualify him

A majority of registered voters say allegations that former Vice President Joe Biden inappropriately touched several women should not disqualify him from seeking the White House in 2020, according to a new Hill-HarrisX poll.

The survey, conducted on Thursday and Friday, found that 56 percent of respondents said Biden's conduct should not be viewed as disqualifying. Twenty-three percent said it should be, and 21 percent said they were unsure.

A majority of women and Democratic respondents said the allegations should not prevent him from running for president.

Biden is widely expected to declare his third White House bid, despite accusations from at least seven women who say he touched them at public events in ways that made them uncomfortable.

No accuser claims Biden did anything sexual in nature. The vast majority of Americans know the difference between what Biden (the poll is a receipt) did and Trump did. And what BS didn't do to protect women in his campaign.

By the way, when will BS and Jane show us their taxes? How can we make not disclosing a candidate's taxes and issue against Trump if BS is the nominee?

The point is, the 2020 election is too crucial to take ANY chances this time around. And Biden's making questionable, non-funny "jokes" at his first public appearance during a union speech... what was that?!

Biden's video the day before was an excellent attempt to put this issue behind him... then, BOOOOOM!! Now, CNN (not Faux News) is running with all these new video clips at the union speech and panels of Democratic women questioning whether Joe gets it.

...as was alleged by numerous women in the BS campaign, and non-sexual actions that make a person "uncomfortable" is vastly different.

You used the word "spotless", as if BS had to answer to nothing on the subject.

In the mean time, releasing a candidate's taxes will be front and center in the debate during the election. The only two candidates who refuse to release their taxes are Trump and BS.

That means BS can't raise that question at all during the General Election.

'Our new CNN poll puts Sanders favorable rating at 46% compared to an unfavorable rating of 45% among registered voters. This is only the latest poll to have Sanders at basically even in his net favorability rating (favorable-unfavorable). A Quinnipiac University poll from late December gave the Vermont senator a net favorability of just +2 points. An average of all recent polls put Sanders' net favorability at about -1 points

Maybe he shouldn't be the nominee.

She has a history of attacking Sander's enemies,
her interactions with Biden before and after the alleged incident belie any discomfort,
nobody witnessed this in a very crowded venue,
the details of her story changed over time, and
multiple observers say they saw nothing of the sort, or any opportunity for it to occur.

Add to that her invoking Stephanie Carter, who has debunked the claims about her interaction, and the fact that she is promoting her online merchandise. I simply don't believe her.

...Democrats should stop eating their own over every trivial matter. And I say "trivial" because even the accusers say that Biden's conduct was not sexual in nature, nor was it harassment or assault.

And let's remember that this non-sexual encounter was just a chance meeting and a single episode. No one says that it was a "traumatic" experience.

If Biden had conducted himself with any of these women, individually, on numerous occasions after he was told that his actions made them feel uncomfortable, he would be wrong. But a single encounter in which no sexual touching or discussions took place? Come on, give me a break, we may as well all just live in a bubble.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

His latest jokes he made at the union speech is a PERFECT example of why... he makes to many unforced errors. I LOVED the video he made two days ago explaining how he "gets it." Indeed, it was brilliantly done... then he had to go and BLOW IT!!

Now, all the media wants to talk about is how Joe DOESN'T get it!! That's not MY fault... that doesn't mean I dislike Biden. I simply dislike how he handles political situations and unnecessarily gives ammunition to the other side.

Can you REALLY not see the difference?! Knowing that, do you REALLY think we should take a chance nominating Joe?!

I just think we should go with more of a sure thing, like Bernie... or Elizabeth... I could even see going with Mayor Pete, a relative newcomer to politics.

I support all the Democrats in the race. Biden is my first choice.

BS is number 19.

The only time I would consider voting for BS is if he is running against Trump. Then BS has my vote.
