With 11.2% reporting

"After a long delay, more results are starting to come in. With 11.2% of precincts reporting, Sanders is still on top, but there has been some movement below.

Here’s where we are:

Sanders – 47%
Biden – 24%
Buttigieg – 14%
Warren – 9%
Steyer – 4%
Klobuchar – 3%"

Let's get real: exit polling has been the basic tool to detect election fraud in the world. However, exit polls fail in one particular scenario: Republicans in the USA.

I don't know how representative of the overall state those 11% reporting precincts are. But statistically he's almost certainly gonna clear 40% in the final count. That's a solid win.

The nun Sanders voting gonna continue to be split four ways until March 3rd. That still leaves plenty of delegates to be awarded among the narrowed field. Yall all need to trust the process.

Of course, it's clear that this call was not in error. Sanders was expected to win NV. He did. No shock, and it was a safe call when it was made, but you are right. The call was made way before the votes had really been counted in any substantial way.

Notice that nobody has called 2nd, 3rd, or 4th place. We'll need a lot more votes counted before anybody will be willing to declare the final standings and delegate counts in this caucus.

There are 36 pledged national Democratic convention delegates, plus an additional 12 unpledged national Democratic convention delegates (superdelegates) from Nevada.

Out of the pledged national convention delegates, 23 are doled out proportionally based on congressional district results, while the remaining 13 are allocated proportionally based on the total statewide result.
