Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumI'd Like to Know Where Each Candidate Stands on Puerto Rico and statehood.
Assuming that they (PR) would actually agree to it.
And on a selfish note, how great would it be to get 2 more Senators, while simultaneously bringing the people of Puerto Rico the equality they deserve, and sticking it in "someone's" eye.

(62,444 posts)And that assumption is based on...?
The last time there was a referendum on the topic, the results were ambiguous as a consequence of a poorly-constructed set of poll questions.
While it is fun to project ones own opinions onto others, any answer other than it should be up to the people of Puerto Rico is presumptuous.
As to how cool it would be to have two more Senators elected by a strongly traditional Catholic ant-abortion voting block also depends on some fairly superficial assumptions.

Needlessly combative, in addition to grossly misrepresenting the point of this thread.
I am taking a very consistent approach towards those who are suspiciously aggressive or negative towards random strangers on the internet that are working towards the same goal. And that approach is to block/ignore. Cheers.
