I'd Like to Know Where Each Candidate Stands on Puerto Rico and statehood.

Assuming that they (PR) would actually agree to it.

And on a selfish note, how great would it be to get 2 more Senators, while simultaneously bringing the people of Puerto Rico the equality they deserve, and sticking it in "someone's" eye.

primary today, I would vote for:

And that is saying something when there is so much to be embarrassed about emanating from one 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

I just see the DNC has Washington DC on the platform, so it appears like that is a valid pathway to get the ball rolling, (assuming PR is on board).

I'll refer you to a thread that I posted that came from an article in the San Juan Weekly.

And that assumption is based on...?

The last time there was a referendum on the topic, the results were ambiguous as a consequence of a poorly-constructed set of poll questions.

While it is fun to project one’s own opinions onto others, any answer other than “it should be up to the people of Puerto Rico” is presumptuous.

As to how “cool” it would be to have two more Senators elected by a strongly traditional Catholic ant-abortion voting block also depends on some fairly superficial assumptions.

Needlessly combative, in addition to grossly misrepresenting the point of this thread.

I am taking a very consistent approach towards those who are suspiciously aggressive or negative towards random strangers on the internet that are working towards the same goal. And that approach is to block/ignore. Cheers.
