Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumWe all know that if Biden were ahead right now,
Bernie would drop out and clear the field ahead of Biden for Super Tuesday. Because Bernie would definitely have recognized, after 2 little caucuses and one little primary, that Biden's ultimate triumph was inevitable.
Because there isn't even any point to having 48 more events, the first few are all that matter.
Right?

(15,662 posts)Be objective at least.
Campaign's, their operatives, and high visibility supporters all do that stuff and always have.
Not to mention, who was "swarming the airwaves telling people to unify. NOW" the past 9 months at least?

(24,396 posts)Im afraid his 2020 candidacy is going to mirror his previous runs for POTUS.
Sad, as he was really great in last weeks CNN Town Hall.

(5,256 posts)So fast our heads would spin. And all supporters of Sen. Sanders would be clamoring for him to do the same, doubtless.

(7,873 posts)...even though Hillary basically mathematically eliminated Sanders from contention on Super Tuesday.
Why they are trying to crown Sanders now after just three states, when he is doing even worse than last go around when he couldn't manage a majority of delegates to win the nomination, I have no clue. Like I said, maybe they are afraid of his online supporters and don't want to get bullied in their Twitter feeds.

(1,673 posts)The DNC wanted it that way, so if Bernie gets 51% of the delegates that's the end of it, right?
That's the "rules" right?
(obligatory goal post motion pending)
(Because a contested convention would be a gift to Trump, right?)
Just checking.
