But then again, we have lots of "naked cowboy" types here in California.... but probably some states would not like that...

This was about 5 years ago. She had said the main thing she wanted to see was the Naked Cowboy.
We stayed at a hotel 2 blocks from Times Square. First evening there and we walk there and, as we turn a corner, she almost bumped into him. For a $5 tip we got to take several pictures with them, one of her holding his guitar.
That and the pix at top of Empire State Bldg (which takes well over an hour to get to) are her favorites.

TBH, I thought Bloomberg popped his cork.

I never heard of the naked cowboy before -
and honestly consider myself better off for it.

It's just that, well, it was more or less an inside joke.
And being an outsider, it seemed more than a bit strange to me.
