Voted today

Early voting has been ongoing a few days in Western North Carolina. Went very smoothly, no Picture ID needed now, and pleased my name had not been removed. As I walked into my precinct, a regional politician approached me and asked if I were going to vote. He introduced himself and handed in my direction a political flyer, and all I needed to see was "CONservitive and Christian" and my blood pressure rose. I could have went into an hour rant about those two things and this admin but promised myself to be civil, so, just said, "See my Navy hat, I took an oath to protect democracy from foreign and domestic enemies. I will do so. So, hell no" and walked away. I was concerned only about 15 people were there. But, it has been going on a bit and it was mid afternoon workday. The kicker, after registering and waiting in a small line to get to the machine, a middle aged couple came up behind me. I heard the male mention Sanders a few times and thought cool. Turns out, they were trumpers. Then, I heard the male schooling his lapdog subservient wife that we are voting today to help put in someone that can never beat trump and that they would change their political preference back to GOP in the fall. I wanted to fly off, but kept my mouth shut, I did not want to lose my voting status. We know this is happening but seeing it right in you face is sickening. Then come home to watch Racheal and "today's" new endless tRump bullshit, and pandemic give a shit attitude from him, you just have to wonder how damn stupid these people are. Maybe a massive die off will open their pea brains. Red hats will not protect from the virus. My question is why do the right whities feel so confident Bernie is a certain loser, and why does Putin/Trump so want him to run against trump. Does Gooliani have something up his sleeve again? Vote people....freakin vote. Thus shit must end, real soon.

Had an appointment at the VA today, and while walking through the lot to the hospital, I saw many Hillary for Prison, trump 2020 and Veterans for trump stickers on trucks. These idiots do not even know Mark Meadows, their rep, cosponsered a Bill to shut down this Asheville VA. One of the top 5 in the nation. MAGA! But lock HER up. Not the in our face traitorous crime family.

"My question is why do the right whities feel so confident Bernie is a certain loser"

I have no idea. It boggles the mind. Also, thank you for your story, though it sucks to hear about R's interfering.

P.S. It'd be hilarious if his wife voted totally differently from what he said every election and he never know.

Women can easily rule, and should. Besides, he was a foot shorter than her. Quess "Their Jesus" demands they obey. Why they have no problem with trumps blatant misogyny.

And may I ask whom you voted for? Your signature still says undecided. If you don't want to say that's understandable.

I voted for Bernie, then Clinton gladly last time. I love Bernie and will vote blue except Tulsi. I have serious concerns why trump, Putin and MAGAs are so for Bernie. I will proudly vote Bernie if he is the nominee. My fear, and that may be their plan, had me vote for Warren. I hope Them pushing Bernie may bite em in the ass. I will fight for Bernie if he is the choice as I will for anyone, except Tulsi. Whoever wins it is very important who the VP is. My State has been classified as no longer a democracy with corruption in voting. The entire country is headed that way. Last night debate was embarrassing. We have got to unite after primaries and end this hell. If the nation still exists. The entire virus situation and trumps destruction of protection is sickening. No president will matter unless McConnel, Graham and entire GOP is burned to the ground. My wonderful state took all Govenor powers away from Cooper with residual GOP criminals. Virginia is doing the same. No one on that stage will get anything if we do not correct the senste and even tick it up in congress. And if we do, please no Obama, work nice with any GOP. I hope the majority make me proud again fior serving this country, at a time I had no right to vote, only a requirement to die in war for it.
