Ask Yourself ...

Is your candidate-of-choice causing down-ticket Democrats to distance themselves from his/her comments?

Is your candidate-of-choice a committed, full-time Democrat – or a Democrat only when it’s convenient to advancing their personal political goals?

Are the supporters of your candidate-of-choice habitually cited as spewing vitriol towards anyone who opposes him/her?

Has your candidate-of-choice attacked the Democratic Party on a regular basis?

Has your candidate-of-choice populated his/her campaign with people who openly admit having voted for Jill Stein in 2016, rather than supporting the Democratic candidate who ran against Trump?

Have the spokes-people for your candidate-of-choice made false claims against other candidates - and then claimed that they simply misspoke?

Has your candidate-of-choice consistently claimed that everything is ‘rigged against’ him/her – including the party that he/she is running for?

Has your candidate-of-choice stated that he/she ‘will not be stopped’ by the Democratic ‘establishment’ – while running on the Democratic ticket?

Has your candidate-of-choice ever refused to produce his/her tax returns or relevant medical records while running for the nomination?

Have the supporters of your candidate-of-choice consistently claimed that preference for a different candidate is based on unfounded ‘hatred’, rather than being based on a thoughtful assessment of all of the candidates, and preferring someone else?

Uncomfortable questions for some – but certainly not for all.

2 things.

What is the Bernie delegate# at the convention.

Who will be the candidate's choices for VP?

Important to know both before the convention, I think.

Yes, that is important -- in fact, it would be useful information now before the primary campaign goes much further.

I think it's only an issue for one candidate, however. I would expect Klobuchar, Biden, Buttigieg, Warren, Steyer, or Bloomberg to pick a solid Democrat who creates a complimentary team from a demographic and ideological standpoint.

With Sanders, all bets are off. Could be Tulsi Gabbard. Could be Nina Turner. Could be someone who voted for Jill Stein in 2016. If those are options, it would be helpful to know so now.

He probably wants Warren, but I'm not sure she wants the #2 job.

Is your choice of candidate winning any of the primary races, and if not, why is that? Does he lack appeal?

... isn't about winning or losing, nor about appeal or lack thereof.

It's about appraising one's candidate-of-choice in terms of whether they're a good pick to be the Democratic candidate, as viewed in the context of their conduct and that of their campaign.

If you'd like to discuss something else, it's fairly easy to start your own thread.
