Obama deserves a lot of credit for his statements on Cuba

I may be wrong, but it seemed his comments on the Castro regime were unprecedented for a U.S. president. Before he said it, it was a no-no to acknowledge any positives.

It reminds me of his comments on the U.S. overthrowing Mosaddeq in Iran, in his Cairo speech. They're both basic facts about history that are forbidden to discuss, and a U.S. president has acknowledged that history. In both cases the RW freaks predictably threw a fit, but normal people responded rationally.

So, now if Bernie or some other future candidate or president acknowledges those same facts, and people freak out, they can say, "Obama said the same thing".

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
