Dems will be linked to Sanders/Warren whether either are the nominee or not.

Dems have some of the silliest, stupid pols on earth. They get get sooo wrapped up into what the Republicans may say about them in an ad. Always on defense. Never on offense.

Here's the deal, the Republicans are going to associate ANY Dem running ANY where with Sanders or Warren and "Socialism", no matter if either are the nominee or not. The Dems could nominate a Bloomberg/Stayer ticket and the Republicans would cry "Socialism".

Play some offense for a change. If you're on defense, then you're already losing.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

A Dem is going to be called a "Socialist" no matter what. It. Just. Doesnt. Matter.

It's not strictly about offense/defense, it's about anticipating how the opposition will characterize your past, policies, platform.

I could say I'm for jobs and the other guys are bums, but if they can label me an ax-murderer, my offense isn't worth a hill of beans.

Very poor strategy in my view.

She is not a self labeled socialist.

Warren would energize down ticket races. She and her supporters have no desire to tear the party down.

Sanders stands alone in his potential to damage the party.

supporter who was given the mike at a Sander's rally and spewed socialism/communism doctrine...imagine the commercials. It will stick to a lesser degree to Warren. But I think she is done. She was my second choice.

I'm sort of amazed by that. It certainly didn't have to be that way. Instead, everything is assessed in relation to one stable point of reference - Bernie Sanders.
