The Bloomberg campaigns internal data suggests if he dropped out now, it actually would improve Sanders delegate path, one adviser told Axios. The explanation goes that Bloomberg draws votes away from Sanders as well as Biden, and that in places where Biden polls too low to be eligible for delegates, Bloomberg only hurts Sanders.

(2,657 posts)People should consider looking at the following graph and noticing how starting around January 24, as Bloomberg went up in the polls, Biden dropped. Bloomberg's good commercials apparently resulting in people switching from Biden to Bloomberg. The commercials were great, but that does not mean that Bloomberg can beat Trump. It just means that Bloomberg has great people working on his advertisements, and that Trump is a target rich environment.
