Just spoke to my sister who is back from voting in small town Oklahoma.

When she arrived there was a man arguing with the election officials because they wouldn't let him wear his MAGA hat to go in and vote. They told him it was electioneering and not allowed. He was quite incensed about it.

So, it seems that Trumpers are following Trump's call to vote in the Democratic primaries.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

The Oklahoma Democratic Party will allow Independent voters to participate in its primary elections in 2020-21, but the Oklahoma Republican and Libertarian parties will stick with closed primaries.

The Democratic Party recently notified the Oklahoma State Election Board that it would conduct open primaries next year, while Oklahoma’s other two recognized political parties announced that they would close their primaries to Independents, the state election board said in a news release.

“This mean there is no change for unaffiliated voters in 2020,” State Election Board Secretary Paul Ziriax was quoted as saying in the news release. “As has been the case for the past two years, Independent voters may continue to vote in Democratic Party primaries, but not in Republican or Libertarian primaries.”

According to the news release, Oklahoma’s primary elections are normally open only to registered voters who are affiliated with a recognized political party, However, recognized parties may open their primaries to registered Independents by notifying the state election board between Nov. 1 and Nov. 30 before the election year.

I live in Seattle now, and every now and then they have this really strange, small election with no turnout (I can't even remember what it's for, something to do with the port commission, though when I went to vote in it, I studied up on the issue).

It was held at the public library, and I swear there were more people holding signs outside than there were voting, but my friend and I went back in and duly reported the sign-holders for canvassing too close to a polling site. That one was particularly egregious, because of the little-known election and the tiny number of voters. Ten people could have made a difference.

it seems is a partial open primary state...

https://www.thoughtco.com/what-is-an-open-primary-3367495

Some states leave it up to the parties themselves, which operate the primaries, to decide if independent and third-party voters can participate. These states include Alaska; Connecticut; Connecticut; Idaho; North Carolina; Oklahoma; South Dakota; and Utah. Nine other states allow independents to vote in party primaries: Arizona; Colorado; Kansas; Maine; Massachusetts; New Hampshire; New Jersey; Rhode Island; and West Virginia.

at our Early Voting Station in Nevada. Most complied and covered up their Pete and Bernie shirts. Or took off the Hats and ditched their signs. Yes we had two,by guess they were "ringers",no one recognized from any of their Neighborhoods. They refused to Sign In and would not take off the Campaign Hats of cover their shirts. So they left .

Around 2:00 pm someone noticed for the first time that you could see a political billboard way up on the Interstate from the front door of the building.

We called election county headquarters and they told us to close down and send the voters to the courthouse.
