Interestingly, the COVID-19 thing has

taken over the news, leading to little to no news being focused on next Tuesday's primaries. I suppose that's natural, but I think it's also that the news media has already figured out that Biden's going to be the nominee and can turn away to look at another huge story now.

There was a sea change in the primary campaign on Super Tuesday. The only candidate getting good news was Joe Biden, and the news isn't getting any better for Bernie Sanders, with California's margin narrowing as the remaining late votes are counted.

There will be another round of media interest on Tuesday, of course, but the thrill has gone about the Democratic Primary. We're down to two candidates, and one has vastly more momentum than the other. The media is fickle, and loses interest if another major story becomes hot.

If Biden wins in Michigan, you can expect the media to turn its attention almost completely away from the Democratic Primary going forward, leading to just reporting on Biden's gains as he approaches a pledged delegate majority.

COVID-19 is not going away any time soon, so that's going to change the coverage dramatically.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

I wouldn't be too concern as the virus is the news of the day and coming months as well.

(not here, but to my lady) that by Thursday, coronavirus would overtake politics as the big story. The only thing that made that untrue was Sen. Warren dropping her campaign on that day rather than Wednesday.

Also, Trump is masterful at stealing the spotlight, even with stupid stuff. It's how he defeated seventeen other Republicans for the nomination. Maybe the Federal Election Commission should force Trump's campaign to pay the expenses of his trip to the CDC since he wore his campaign hat the entire time.

as the virus begins to spread. The mortality and morbidity rates for the virus are significantly greater for those over 60. We will see how fast and far the virus spreads and how panicked the population becomes. Another good reason to allow voting by mail in all states.
