Let's face it- Bernie has us Democrats by the short curlies

If we Democrats don't let him run in our primaries, he can run as an Independent in the general and give us four more years of Trumpian hell. Has he promised he wouldn't do that? If he has, I must have missed it.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

8. The only other serious candidate was O'Malley, who never gained any traction and dropped after IA.

It takes a ton of money, hard work and time to run as independent. It is not easy getting on the ballot in key states. I doubt that sanders will try to run as an indie

But banning him from running would be a PR nightmare. It's best to just let him run and then fizzle out, even if we all know he'll go right back to being an "Independent" after he leaves the race.
