They were pushing an at best unproven at worst libelous anti-Clinton talking point about "corruption" meant to damage Clinton.

Sanders is currently a leading Democratic candidate. If you have proof of wrongdoing, than by all means expose it. Otherwise you are simply engaged in efforts to smear and undermine a potential Democratic candidate for President

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

One reporter digs up something and publishes it. Other reporters get involved and start digging more.

This is one article and surely there will be more in-depth reporting.

Old Towne Media's riches may have a connection with Sanders stalling with tax returns. It may not.

Either way, the public needs to know and Sanders people are not forthcoming about the money.

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

coverage in many media outlets. It was not taken to kindly on this Democratic discussion forum at the time to use DU as a platform for those pursuing that type of investigative journalism against one of our candidates barring firm evidence of wrongdoing.

into four $5 contributions, etc.

There was a lot of that last time, resulting in many pages of donations by people who'd accidentally exceeded the limits. It's probably hard to keep track of all the payments when you're making several donations on the same day.
