Positive poll results continue to roll in for Mayor Pete Buttigieg

New positive poll numbers are rolling in for Pete Buttigieg, just days before he's expected to announce his official run for the presidency.

South Bend's mayor is now third in a state poll of Democratic candidates.

The poll by the New Hampshire Institute of Politics shows him behind only Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders.

Since the last poll of voters in that state two months ago, Buttigieg's name recognition has skyrocketed 33 percent.

He connects in a down-to-earth way. I was glad to learn that he has served in the military, which will probably mean he’ll do all he can for our vets. That is very, very important to me. I respect his vision and the fact that although These are difficult, troubling times, he sees a way forward. Good man, and definitely #1 on my list.

That could change. It is early. But I like the guy and was fortunate to learn about him before most of the country.

We bought his book. I haven't started to read it yet.

He is knowledgeable, well spoken, very likable. He should fare quite well in the debates.

I would be more than comfortable if he were the nominee.
