The former vice president now has 315 more delegates than the senator from Vermont — 1,132 to Sanders' 817 — after having started the night with an edge of 154.

And a reminder:

There are still outstanding delegate counts in quite a few states as well, even some of the Super Tuesday states, and of course all of the states from tonight. This is because some states have a high number of military and overseas ballots that have to be counted if they were postmarked on the day of the election. Plus some states need to sort out who won what congressional districts, by how much, before allocating some of their delegates. Washington state is an example of both. They have around 16,000 votes to count, then they have to sort out the district delegates after that.

The totals will change once all of the final tallies are totted up, but expect the gap to widen in Biden's favor.

10. I think Bernie's hanging on to try and pressure Biden into giving in to some of his proposals
Wed Mar 18, 2020, 05:59 AM
Mar 2020

And force the issues as much as possible while refusing to drop out. Bernie knows he's lost , and now wants something for him now to bow out. What will it take from Biden to get this done? Biden does have problems with some of his issues and not being progressive , so he may give in to get him on board sooner rather than later. Bernie is going no where now until that happens.

Even then I'm not sure he wouldn't still hang around with his close circle egging him on to stay in the race. They are so hell bent on damaging the Democratic party and Biden. I'm sure they thought they had the race won with Bernie collecting more delegates than anyone else in a crowded field. Hence his emphasis that the person leading in delegates should get the nomination. Now that they see that won't be Bernie they know it's over but refuse to accept that fact.

No concessions to Bernie beyond what has already been offered.

This is it. Bernie should drop out and focus on writing his next book.

Bernie needs to sit down and put a sock in it.. His scolding is not appreciated in this time of crisis. He is not a leader, he is a divider. If “his proposals” were so fucking awesome, he would be winning by now.

He is now irrelevant except in the Senate.

Period.
