"SNIP....

“Sen. Kamala Harris is making inroads with elected officials and leaders in South Carolina ahead of her fourth visit to the crucial early-voting state this week — snagging the much-sought endorsement of former state Rep. Bakari Sellers on Monday,” Politicoreports.

....SNIP"

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:

Looks like she'll have a much easier time in SC than Bernie will. Did you happen to see his "rally" at the historically black church in North Charleston, SC? Less than one percent of the rally-goers were AA or POC. And this is at a BLACK CHURCH and in a city that's majority black!!!

When Harris held a rally at the exact same location, the ethnic demographics of her rally-goers was MUCH CLOSER to the demographics of the city itself.

Clearly, POC and AA voters aren't interested in what BS is selling. The BS message and the BS campaign just aren't connecting.

but I wonder how she's been polling in SC? Nobody I've talked to seems to be enthusiastic for her, although they said they'd vote for her as the nominee.

She may be too "West Coast" for some folks here. I still hear support mostly for Joe Biden.

Barack Obama was fighting the idea that "a black man could never get elected as President", pretty much the same thing that Pete Buttigieg is trying to overcome the notion that a gay man could not get elected. Sens. Harris and Booker no longer have to deal with that presumption.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
