AM Joy interviewing Nina Turner with all black panel re: Sander's appearance at She The People event

Interesting, if you want to tune in now. ** Edited to add video**

Jason Johnson (the Root) did not seem to be buying what Nina Turner was offering.

I would note that Nina Turner seemed to be more restrained today. I've seen previous appearances that made me wonder what possible help she could bring to Sander's campaign as she just seemed intensely abrasive.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

The fact that "senator" Turner is embroiled in the whole Our Revolution scheme makes it dicier.

This no one else's fault but their own. It's very disingenuous to say they were booing him for his MLK statement. They were booing because he dodged the question. His finger wagging didn't help either. Instead of blaming others, Bernie's campaign needs to take responsibility, and sadly, I'm just not seeing it.

14. Turner announced that PoC were 50% of Sanders' supporters. (!)
Sun Apr 28, 2019, 03:24 PM
Apr 2019

Assuming PoC were already engaged at their prior 6% of the electorate, and 100% supported Sanders, that'd mean Sanders was drawing only 3% of the rest of the electorate.

Reality should be far less than that theoretical maximum, of course, which means his other 50% support would also be far less. If black engagement was say, 2%, and non-PoC 2%, his total following would be 4% of the electorate.

An enlightening, and shocking, admission, but presumably Turner knows what she's talking about.

primary today, I would vote for:
